Engagement/couple shoots

An engagement shoot is for us to get to know one another. It gives you a chance to see how I work before the big day and to become comfortable with a lens pointing in your direction. More importantly, it will give you a chance to spend some time with each other, before the wedding madness starts.

Oh, and you don't need to be engaged to have an engagement shoot! Banish all thoughts of couple shoots being the stuff of naff man-dipping-woman poses (I don't even know how this pose came about, or why. WHY?) I aim to capture you, and your beau/belle having fun and being you.

Prices

Prices start at ₤150 for two hours at a location of your choice. This covers the shoot, a minimum of 50 edited digital images and a private online gallery.

Wedding Photography

There are a lot of words bandied about these days when it comes to wedding photography - photojournalism, reportage, editorial, vintage - being some of them. I try not to pigeonhole my style too much so tend to stay clear of these.

However, regardless of what I'm shooting, if it involves people, I think the best shots are spontaneous, natural and fun. And emotional. This means I generally shoot in a more candid way, capturing the fun and emotion as it happens.

Documenting a day full of love and happiness is so special. I am privileged to be able to do so.

Prices

To keep it simple, I have a fixed price of ₤750 for eight hours coverage and ₤50 an hour thereafter. For eight hours coverage, I deliver a minimum of 450 pictures. Please contact me if you would like further information about my wedding photography and I'll get my brochure over to you asaaaap.

I'm asked all sorts of questions from future bride and grooms. Here are the ones I receive in my postbag most.

Children and family portraits

I aim to give very little direction during these photography sessions, preferring instead to capture you and your family in a relaxed setting at home or at a local location. It may involve a trip to feed the ducks, rolling down hills, playing with lego, or wearing a batman costume (your kid, not you. Or maybe you, who am I to judge?)

Sessions are usually two hours - sometimes more, sometimes a little less. Children tend to go by their own clock but rest assured, your shoot will be unhurried and this leaves plenty of time for me to get to know your little ones.

Prices

The children and family session is ₤150*. This covers the shoot, a minimum of 50 edited digital images and a private online gallery.

Please note: If your wedding/shoot is outside of Greater London, there may be travel expenses on top
